Chronic pelvic pain can be a challenge for patients and providers alike. Because there can be multiple sources creating discomfort (organs, muscles, or fascia), diagnosis and treatment is difficult. The providers at Southern Arizona Center for Pelvic Health are committed to using multiple techniques in an attempt to alleviate this pain at its source. Some of these modalities include therapeutic ultrasound, myofascial release techniques, trigger point injections for muscular pain, and bladder installations for treatment of Interstitial Cystitis

Our pelvic floor rehabilitation program can help patients learn to break the pain cycle with relaxation techniques, TENS placement (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation), and compounded vaginal creams and suppositories. If you’ve tried other treatment options and continue to struggle with pelvic pain, give our program a try. These therapies have shown to be successful for many patients, and unlike surgery, there are minimal side effects.
